Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Apple Valley, Minnesota seeks a Shift Leader to guide the coffeehouse in partnership with the General Manager. You will ensure brand standards, guest connections, product knowledge, and smooth shift operations across the floor.

You will coach team members, manage daily tasks, and uphold quality, safety, and customer experiences while fostering an inclusive, growth‑oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months in a leadership role
• Flexible availability to cover shifts as needed
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of team member responsibilities with confidence and excellence
• Leads shifts with energy to keep the team engaged and the shift on track
• Optimizes product sales while managing waste and maintaining a welcoming environment
• Knows the day’s deployment and communicates clearly on the floor
• Delegates objectives and tasks to meet shift priorities
• Owns the shift and ensures smooth hand-offs to the next shift
• Upholds standard operating procedures, quality, cash handling, and store safety
• Coaches and trains team on responsibilities, product knowledge, promotions, and recipes
• Performs administrative tasks like deposits, inventory and orders
• Develops Team Members through coaching and feedback
