Job summary

El Pollo Loco is seeking a Shift Leader in Lancaster, CA to oversee restaurant operations during assigned shifts and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will lead the team, manage opening/closing tasks, inventory accuracy, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Must be certified on EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ year of supervisory experience and pass EPL Food Safety Audit after hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage opening and closing procedures and security for shifts.
• Coordinate crew tasks for setup, food prep, and cleaning and update inventory records.
• Ensure customer service and speed of service metrics meet company goals and safety standards.
• Train and support team members on new products and procedures.
• Handle cash, deposits, and audits while on shift.
