El Pollo Loco in Santa Clarita is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team, manage daily restaurant operations during shifts, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will lead service and food prep, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and support staff with training and processes to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Must be certified on EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience and pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class after hire.

Responsabilités

• Oversee opening and closing procedures; coordinate crew tasks for setup, food prep and cleaning.
• Maintain service speed and cleanliness; ensure safety and QSC standards.
• Adjust staffing levels based on sales and supervise food production with Area Leader guidance.
• Train and support team on new products and procedures.
• Handle cash registers, deposits, catering orders and cash drawer audits on shift.
• Greet customers and ensure a positive, friendly service experience.
