El Pollo Loco in Tulare, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring top-notch service and adherence to safety and quality standards. You will lead a team, manage inventory, and coordinate with leadership to deliver a fire-grilled guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be certified on EPL SPECS positions or pass EPL Food Safety Audit after hire.

Responsibilities

• Open and close restaurant procedures and security; coordinate crew tasks for setup, food prep and cleaning.
• Ensure service speed and customer satisfaction; maintain cleanliness per EPL and health codes; uphold QSC standards.
• Allocate tasks and adjust staffing based on sales; supervise breaks and ensure policy compliance.
• Train team on new products and procedures.
• Manage cash drawers, deposits, and cash handling; assist Area Leader for procedures.
