El Pollo Loco in California is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team during shifts, driving exceptional service and smooth operations while delivering fire-grilled experiences that keep guests coming back.

You will manage opening/closing procedures, inventory, food prep, and safety compliance, train staff, and handle cash processes. This role offers competitive pay and clear growth opportunities within the company.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED preferred; EPL SPECS certification or 1+ year supervisory experience and passing EPL FSA after hire.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee opening and closing procedures; coordinate crew tasks for setup, food prep, and cleaning; conduct inventory checks and update inventory system.
• Ensure customer service and speed of service metrics meet company goals; maintain cleanliness per EPL and health code; uphold QSC standards.
• Prioritize team tasks during shift; monitor breaks; adjust staffing based on sales; supervise food production with Area Leader guidance.
• Train and support team on new products and procedures.
• Manage cash handling, deposits, audits, and compliance with procedures during shifts.
• Greet customers and assist with orders, maintaining friendly service.
