El Pollo Loco is seeking a Shift Leader in California to oversee daily restaurant operations during shifts and act as the deputy in the absence of management. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will supervise a team, manage opening/closing tasks, coordinate inventory, and ensure accurate cash handling and deposits, with growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Must be certified on EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience and pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class after hire.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts and in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Ensure customer service and speed of service metrics meet company goals and standards; maintain cleanliness and safety per QSC standards.
• Prioritize team tasks, manage break policies, adjust staffing based on sales volume, and coordinate with Area Leader for guidance.
