El Pollo Loco is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and compliance with company standards.

You will lead a team, manage opening/closing duties, train staff on new products and procedures, and support safe, fast, and friendly service. This role offers growth opportunities and a chance to advance within the brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of restaurant supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass EPL Food Safety Audit after hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage opening and closing procedures, coordinate crew tasks, conduct inventory checks and update records.
• Ensure service speed and health code compliance; uphold QSC standards.
• Prioritize tasks, manage breaks, adjust staffing to meet demand.
• Train and support team on new products and procedures.
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, and audits during shifts.
• Greet customers and ensure a positive experience.
