Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader to provide overall leadership and direction in our Minnesota coffeehouse, partnering with the GM/AGM. You’ll ensure team alignment with brand standards, product knowledge, cleanliness, and guest connections during each shift.

Key duties include leading shifts with high energy, coaching staff, supporting operations, and maintaining a safe, engaging store environment. Starting wage ranges from $12.75 to $21.25 per hour, with room for growth and benefit

Qualifications

• 6+ months of leadership experience or proper training to take on Shift Leader responsibilities
• Shift Leaders must maintain flexible availability to meet business needs
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of every Team Member responsibility with confidence and excellence
• Leads shifts with energy and keeps the team engaged
• Optimizes product sales while managing waste and maintaining an inviting coffeehouse
• Knows shift deployment and communicates on the floor to keep everything moving
• Reads team needs, delegates objectives and tasks accordingly
• Takes ownership of the current shift and ensures a smooth hand-off
• Ensures SOPs and Caribou standards for quality, cash handling, and safety
• Coaches and trains team on responsibilities, product knowledge, promotions, and recipes
