Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee our Minnesota cafe in partnership with the GM/AGM, ensuring brand standards, guest connections, and smooth shift operations. This role emphasizes leadership, training, and a strong service mindset.

You will lead a motivated team, manage day-to-day operations, handle cash and safety procedures, and drive guest satisfaction while maintaining quality and efficiency across all tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of leadership experience or trained for shift leader duties.
• Must be able to work varying days/times as business needs change.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with energy and ensure smooth hand-offs to the next team.
• Coach and train team on responsibilities, product knowledge, promotions, and guest requests.
• Uphold brand standards, cash handling, safety, and SOPs on every shift.
• Communicate deployment and roles on the floor to keep the shift moving.
• Develop Team Members with coaching and timely feedback.
• Maintain a welcoming, well-executed coffeehouse environment and guest connections.
