Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Minnesota is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee the cafe in partnership with the General Manager. You’ll ensure brand standards, guest connections, and a smooth, energized shift.

The role emphasizes leading with enthusiasm, coaching teammates, managing operations, and upholding cash handling, safety, and quality standards. Applicants should have 6 months of leadership experience or relevant training, be at least 18 years old, and may need a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 6 months of leadership experience or properly trained for Shift Leader responsibilities.
• Shift Leaders must maintain flexible availability and be able to work different days/times.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coffeehouse in partnership with the GM/AGM.
• Lead shifts with energy and keep the team engaged and on track.
• Enhance sales while managing waste and maintaining an inviting environment.
• Communicate deployment and roles on the floor to keep the shift moving.
• Coach and train team on responsibilities, products, promotions, and recipes.
• Handle administrative tasks with integrity (bank deposits, inventory, orders).
