Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements. This role emphasizes team leadership and operational accuracy in a fast-paced plaza environment.

The position includes training new team members, monitoring cash handling, and supporting opening/closing procedures while maintaining product quality and a welcoming atmosphere for travelers.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Able to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Perform opening, daily and closing procedures per procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature control.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
