Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead plaza teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold food safety and brand standards. You will train new team members, monitor cash handling, and oversee daily operations on shift.

The role requires flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends and holidays, with emphasis on accuracy, efficiency and guest satisfaction across the travel plaza network. Join a fast-paced team that serves a diverse traveler base.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate the POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks: prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
