Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams across one of our travel plazas. You will ensure exceptional customer service, supervise daily tasks, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements.

Key duties include opening/closing procedures, cash handling with POS, and training new team members while maintaining product knowledge and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, rotating, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
