Job summary

GulfSpring Partners, LLC, operating Firehouse Subs, is seeking a shift leader responsible for the profitable operation of a specific shift under the General Manager. The role ensures compliance with health, wage, age restrictions, ADA and related regulations while upholding Firehouse Subs policies and driving guest satisfaction.

You will lead the restaurant team, manage training and performance, and coordinate with the GM to implement current game plans and company initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations for the restaurant.
• Knowledge and enforcement of Firehouse Subs policies and procedures.
• Leadership and supervision of restaurant staff to achieve guest satisfaction, cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining employees under GM guidance.
• Effective communication with GM/Owner and ability to operate within company initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the restaurant operates profitably by managing shifts within guidelines for food cost, labor, and controllables.
• Lead the restaurant team to meet standards of service, quality and cleanliness.
• Coordinate and implement current operations plans and company initiatives in a profitable, timely manner.
• Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional manner and adhere to all guidelines.
• Actively participate in all required programs, reports and legal documents.
• Able to stand for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
