Job summary

Zaxbys is seeking a Shift Leader to manage the shift, supervise team members, and ensure high standards of service and food quality. You will coach staff, handle guest concerns, and help meet daily goals in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Candidates should demonstrate leadership, reliable transportation, and flexibility in scheduling, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: 9 to 28 hours per week; Full-time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Background check required.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities and effective communication.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product, process, and people required to execute a shift.
• Set shift goals and align tasks to achieve them.
• Coach and develop team members and report performance to leadership.
• Resolve guest complaints in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Receive deliveries, stock inventory, and monitor food production.
• Ensure safety guidelines and company policies are followed.
• Assist in opening and closing duties and manage daily operations.
