Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced shift leader to run a Dairy Queen store with attention to detail and guest satisfaction. You will support the GM in operations, training, and ensuring safety and quality across all store functions.

You will manage inventory, scheduling, and customer service while maintaining a positive, fast-paced environment designed to create memorable experiences for guests. This role requires leadership and strong hospitality skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience required.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts to meet quality, service and atmosphere goals.
• Train and ensure shift leads and crew are knowledgeable on PRIDE systems, recipes, and safety practices.
• Assist GM with business planning and strategies to improve sales and labor efficiency.
• Ensure fan service standards are met and manage customer concerns promptly.
• Lead and coach staff, schedule efficiently, and foster a positive work environment.
• Support health and safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
• Contribute to local store marketing ideas and activities.
• Perform duties under pressure, handle temperature ranges, and lift up to 50 pounds.
