Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced shift lead to run a Dairy Queen store in Texas. The role supports the GM in operations, inventory, and staff development, while delivering high-quality food and customer experiences.

You will train crew, monitor costs such as COGS and labor, and ensure strict food-safety practices and clean store standards. A high-energy, detail-oriented leader can thrive here.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ of leadership in a high-volume restaurant.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling practices; ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality, service and atmosphere.
• Train and coach shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, and food safety.
• Assist GM with business planning, labor optimization, inventory, and cost control.
• Ensure Fan service standards and handle customer concerns promptly.
• Lead hiring, training, and performance feedback for staff to build a skilled team.
• Uphold health and safety standards, sanitation, and emergency readiness.
• Support local store marketing and promotional activities.
