Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running a high-volume store with attention to detail. You will oversee daily operations, inventory, and staff performance while ensuring safe, friendly customer service and strong financial discipline.

Responsibilities include training shift leaders, managing schedules, and promoting a positive, efficient work environment that delivers value and memorable experiences for Fans of all ages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of managing COGS and labor.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations during scheduled shifts to meet quality, service, and atmosphere goals.
• Oversee inventory control, product ordering, and cash handling activities.
• Train and coach shift leads and crew on restaurant routines and safety practices.
• Address customer concerns promptly to ensure a positive FAN experience.
• Monitor labor and staffing levels to optimize store performance.
