Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced shift leader to run daily operations, ensuring quality, service and atmosphere while delivering value to guests. This role supports the GM in executing restaurant objectives and maintaining high standards across all duties.

You will coach and train the team, manage inventory and labor, and uphold safety standards. A positive, high-energy work environment is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in quick service restaurant settings and COGS/labor control.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and ServSafe training is a plus.
• Strong customer service and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations during scheduled shifts to meet Fan expectations.
• Train and coach shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes and safety.
• Assist GM with business planning, scheduling and labor optimization.
• Ensure fast, friendly Fan service and handle customer concerns promptly.
• Build a positive, energetic team environment and lead by example.
• Oversee health and safety standards and merchandising activities.
• Support local store marketing and promotional initiatives.
