Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring a Shift Leader to supervise and develop associates, execute outstanding product quality, and deliver great customer service on a fast-paced shift. You’ll lead by example, manage operations, and help control costs.

Eligible applicants should be 18+, with at least 1 year of supervisory restaurant/retail experience and the ability to obtain a Food Safety Certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in restaurant or retail.
• Must pass and obtain a Food Safety Certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for 8–9 hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead team on shifts and assign tasks.
• Manage cash handling and balance drawers.
• Prepare quality finished products.
• Ensure health and safety standards.
• Restock and maintain supplies.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
• Uphold security procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
