Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Wilton, CT is seeking a Team Lead First Line Support Production Engineer to oversee shift-based technical support in the Production Engineering department at Wilton Factory. You will guide the team, coordinate daily work, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in a high-tech production environment, hands-on experience in optical fabrication or related processes, and strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in high-tech production/manufacturing with hands-on engineering support.
• Experience leading daily work coordination and shift execution.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, containment, and follow-through.
• Experience coaching and mentoring engineers, technicians, or production employees.
• Ability to communicate production risks, disturbances, quality issues, and recovery plans clearly to cross-functional work centers and management.
• Experience in optical fabrication or assembly processes is a plus.
• Cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of statistical process control, PFMEA, SAP, and Teamcenter is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee First Line Support during the assigned shift to ensure resources are aligned to production priorities, technical needs, and shift objectives.
• Provide accountable technical support by guiding troubleshooting activities, reviewing engineering disturbance notices, and helping drive timely resolution of production issues.
• Coordinate work across the shift to ensure tasks are assigned, prioritized, followed up, and completed according to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Serve as the primary shift point of contact for technical escalation, resource alignment, and communication between team members, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, and leadership.
• Monitor shift progress, identify risks or gaps early, and take appropriate action to maintain workflow, output, quality, and cycle time expectations.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees during onboarding, training periods, and ongoing daily execution upon request, to ensure the trainings is strictly followed the FLS established training guidelines.
• Coordinate and track employees time-off to ensure that there is always at least one employee present for each work center on each shift.
• Attend and support cycle time meeting bi-weekly and cascade information to the team to improve productivity.
• This position is compressed work week (CWW) 12hrs/day from 10:00 am to 10:00 PM (details during interview).
• Required to attend all Tier 2 meetings daily to capture critical information and cascade to the team.
