PG1 Restaurants is seeking a Shift Leader for Jersey Mike's in Blacksburg, VA to supervise daily operations, open/close procedures, and guide a crew of 3–8 team members during peak hours.

You will ensure food quality and safety, maintain standards, coach teammates, and help hit labor, inventory, and guest service goals while upholding our positive culture.

Applicants should have 1+ years QSR or supervisory experience; ServSafe certification is a plus; must be 18+ and available for all shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or supervisory experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership & Operations: Open/close procedures, run smooth shifts, lead 3–8 team members during busy rushes.
• Food Quality & Prep: Bake bread, complete morning/daily prep, slice meats/cheeses with precision.
• Standards & Accountability: Uphold company policies, Core Values, and operating standards.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure each sub is prepared correctly and maintain food safety, sanitation, and guest service standards.
• Business Goals: Handle cash, support labor control, inventory management, and shift performance goals.
• Coaching & Culture: Mentor team members, address guest concerns professionally, promote a positive culture.
