Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works is seeking a Shift Leader for our Vienna, VA location. You will lead a shift, develop associates, and drive product quality, service, and cost control in a fast-paced environment.

You must be at least 18, with supervisory restaurant/retail experience preferred, and you will need to pass state food safety requirements and obtain certification. Duties include safety, cash handling, and delivering a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• You must meet all Food Safety requirements in your state and pass a Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assigning tasks and providing feedback.
• Ensure security procedures and back-of-house standards are followed.
• Count drawers and handle cash; prepare quality finished products.
• Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards; restock as needed.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and help maintain a positive guest experience.
