Job summary

Dunkin' Donuts in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Shift Leader to coach team members during a shift, ensure brand standards, and deliver great guest service. Shifts run 5am-1pm or 1pm-9pm; you will set goals, assign tasks, and motivate the crew with timely feedback.

You will support the Restaurant Manager in achieving daily goals, oversee food safety, inventory, and cash handling, and help prepare staff for the next shift. Previous hospitality leadership preferred; fluent English required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution.
• Ensure Brand standards are met throughout shift including preparation of food and beverages.
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to restaurant team members.
• Complete shift deployment plans for shifts to ensure positions are adequately supported.
• Coach restaurant team members with timely, constructive feedback.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
• Support the training of restaurant team members as needed.
• Oversee franchisee safety, security and profitability policies throughout a shift.
• Communicate clearly with the next Shift Leader to prepare them for shift.
• Ensure Food Safety standards are met.
• Manage Inventory throughout the shift.
• Provide great guest service and coach staff to do the same.
• Handle customer complaints, conflicts, and emergencies, and maintain a positive restaurant reputation.
• Manage cash over/short during shift and ensure compliance with cash handling policies.
• Monitor employee attendance and punctuality.
