Potbelly Sandwich Works is seeking a Shift Leader in Florida to supervise a fast-paced team, ensuring top-notch product quality and customer service while managing costs on each shift.

You will lead a friendly, energetic crew in a busy kitchen, uphold rigorous food safety standards, and contribute to an excellent guest experience. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting preferred.
• Must pass state Food Safety requirements and obtain a Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks.
• Ensure security procedures are followed and back-of-house standards are met.
• Count drawers and manage cash handling procedures.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, etc.).
• Maintain health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler; clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, and utensils.
• Operate cash register and handle customer complaints effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.
