Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Store Shift Manager to lead a winning team on each shift, drive guest satisfaction, and uphold RaceTrac’s standards for food safety and cleanliness. You will coach, motivate, and develop team members while managing cash handling and inventory in a fast-paced store environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service with at least 1 year in a leadership role, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and drive guest satisfaction.
• Provide clear direction and support with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time and address guest concerns with professionalism.
• Oversee store operations, inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift-change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
