Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a winning team on your shift. You’ll set the tone with a cheerful attitude, coach team members, and ensure smooth food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling. You’ll drive operational excellence and help maintain RaceTrac’s high standards of guest service and safety.

You’ll also train, mentor, and develop staff, manage inventory and shift communications, and promote a positive store culture centered on accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.

• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee store processes including inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
