RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead by example on a fast-paced shift. You’ll empower teammates, deliver guest‑focused service, and handle food service, stocking, and cash handling with a positive, can‑do attitude.

You’ll drive operational excellence, train and coach staff, manage inventory and promotions, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met. A strong communicator who thrives on teamwork will excel here.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coach team members in real-time with guidance and support.

• Ensure inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication are executed.
• Oversee write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and team alignment.
• Model communication and accountability; relay updates from leadership.
• Monitor task completion and provide immediate feedback to drive results.
• Support a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork.
• Step in during busy times, showing colleagues what strong leadership looks like.
