Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to set the tone on each shift, lead a winning team, and ensure top guest service while maintaining safety and store standards.

You will coach teammates, manage tasks across food service, stocking, and cash handling, and deliver timely feedback to drive results in a fast-paced, people-first environment. Growth opportunities exist to advance to General or Co-Managers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set a positive tone.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time to improve performance.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Train the team to meet food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure inventory, receiving, and cash wrap processes are executed properly.
• Oversee shift change communication and team alignment.
• Model communication and accountability with the leadership team.
