Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a winning team on every shift, empower team members, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced store environment. You will coach staff, handle food service duties, cash handling, and stocking while driving store operations and compliance with company standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of relevant experience, 1+ year in a supervisory role, and a strong focus on communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Willingness to obtain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
• Coach team members in real-time and provide guidance during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide the team to meet guest service and food safety standards.
• Oversee inventory, write-offs, cash wrap, and promotional communication.
• Ensure teamwork, shift change communication, and accountability throughout the day.
