Job summary

Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a Restaurant Shift Leader at Hardee's to supervise shifts, train crew, and uphold quality, service, cleanliness, and safety while supporting profitability.

In the absence of the General Manager you will run the restaurant, conduct pre-shift meetings, control labor and inventory, ensure cash procedures, and embody our values with a professional, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must meet the physical demands required of the role.
• Must be able to lead, recognize, and train successful talent.
• 1 year of shift management experience.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Preferably a valid driver’s license.
• Love working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Consistent and reliable.
• Cheerful and positive attitude.
• Values teamwork.
• Loves serving and helping others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shifts and maintain company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Train and develop crew under the direction of management.
• Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management and crew; assist with crew member duties as needed.
• Conduct crew meetings prior to shift to discuss operations, procedures, promotions, safety, security, and training.
• Manage labor cost to meet company standard.
• Control inventory to meet company GAP standard.
• Maintain reports and records based on company standards and comply with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Responsible for all cash when in charge of a shift, including bank deposits; ensure cash procedures are followed.
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standard and displays professionalism at all times.
• Ensure all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures are recognized and enforced to provide a safe and compliant environment for all when in charge of the shift.
• Consistently exhibit actions and behaviors that best demonstrate BNE’s Vision and Values; perform other tasks as directed by management and represent Boddie‑Noell Enterprises, Inc. professionally in every aspect of performance.
