Job summary
El Pollo Loco is seeking a Shift Leader to manage daily restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and adherence to company standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of supervisory experience with EPL SPECS certification or after-hire training in EPL Food
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience and pass EPL Food Safety Audit after hire.
Responsibilities
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, security, setup, prep and cleaning.
- Ensure service speed and quality meet company goals; maintain cleanliness and QSC standards.
- Prioritize tasks, manage breaks and staffing to align with sales volume.
- Train and support team on new products and procedures.
- Handle cash operations, deposits, and audits under Area Leader guidance.
- Greet customers and assist with orders to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Perform other duties to support restaurant operations.
