Job summary

Church's Chicken is seeking a Shift Leader to act as a restaurant leader on shift, coaching and developing Team Members to deliver an outstanding customer experience and to follow all Cajun Operating Company policies.

Responsibilities include supervising service, ensuring menu items are prepared per standard, handling cash and POS duties, opening/closing tasks, and enforcing safety and security policies. A high school diploma or GED is recommended, and ServSafe training is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to lead a team and coach; customer service focused.
• Understanding of cash handling and POS procedures; attention to paperwork accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service on shift and ensure courteous customer interactions.
• Ensure menu items are prepared and served to standard.
• Oversee opening/closing duties and shift checklists.
• Model proper procedures and enforce safety policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and support team members as needed.
• Monitor cash handling, deposits, and POS accuracy.
