Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced shift leader to run a Dairy Queen store with attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction. The role supports the GM in operations, training staff, managing inventories, and achieving sales goals.

The position emphasizes coaching, team leadership, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards to ensure a memorable guest experience and a strong store environment.

Qualifications

• Previous quick service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• ServSafe training provided if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, aiming for top quality, service and atmosphere.
• Ensure shift leads and crew are trained on PRIDE systems, recipes and safety practices.
• Assist GM with business planning, controlling costs and optimizing labor.
• Deliver Fan service standards, resolve customer concerns and build loyal patrons.
• Lead team development, schedule hourly staff and foster a positive climate.
• Uphold health and safety standards and sanitation procedures.
• Support local store marketing activities and competitive analysis.
• Perform duties under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
