Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced shift leader to responsibly run a high-volume restaurant with attention to detail, creating positive memories for all fans. The shift leader will assist the General Manager with operational, financial and personnel tasks to meet quality, service, and atmosphere goals.

The role emphasizes training, scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining food safety practices while driving sales and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, meeting quality, service and atmosphere standards.
• Train and coach shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes and safety practices.
• Assist GM with executing the restaurant’s business plan and optimizing sales and labor against P&L.
• Ensure Fan service standards and resolve customer concerns to promote loyalty.
• Hire, train, and develop staff; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain health and safety standards, sanitation, and security procedures.
• Support local store marketing activities and competitive analysis.
