Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to run store operations with a focus on quality, service and atmosphere. You will assist the GM with inventory, ordering, cash control, and labor management to drive profitability.

Responsibilities include training crew on system procedures, ensuring food safety, and maintaining fan service standards while leading a motivated team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of high-volume restaurant leadership experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Operate the restaurant during scheduled shifts, maintaining quality, service and atmosphere and handling inventory, ordering, and cash control.
• Train shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, and food safety practices.
• Assist GM with business planning, analyzing COGS and adjusting labor to protect profitability, and developing strategies to increase visits and average meal checks.
• Maintain Fan service standards and resolve customer concerns promptly to build loyalty.
• Lead and coach team members to meet staffing needs, monitor performance, and enforce policies.
• Uphold health and safety standards, sanitation procedures, and emergency responses.
