Modern Market Eatery is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, guest service, and station coverage in a fast-paced open kitchen setting. You will ensure shifts run smoothly, maintain cleanliness, and monitor food quality while leading a team.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of shift-leader experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to coordinate work and multitask across duties. OT eligibility and growth potential are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor food quality.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift while ensuring breaks for all employees are taken on time.
• Work all stations in the restaurant and adapt to where you are most needed.
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed.
