Job summary

Modern Market Eatery in Colorado is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to ensure smooth restaurant operations and exceptional guest service. You will oversee opening and closing procedures, monitor food quality, and manage breaks while supporting the team on busy shifts.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in a shift-leader role, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate tasks across stations. Health benefits and other perks accompany this hourly position.

Qualifications

• 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience preferred
• Exceptional communication skills
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others
• Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
• Continually monitor our food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed
