Job summary

Modern Market Eatery is seeking experienced Shift Leaders who are passionate about restaurant service and teamwork. In this role, you will ensure the restaurant runs smoothly, manage employee breaks, and oversee food quality.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of leadership experience in a restaurant setting. Benefits include hourly pay with eligibility for overtime, tip sharing, health coverage for full-time leads, PTO accruals, paid holidays, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience required.
• Exceptional communication skills are necessary.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant cleanliness and delegate tasks.
• Monitor food quality continually.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Manage shifts ensuring employee breaks.
• Work at various stations as needed.
• Assist Manager with other duties.
