Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude.
• Input orders into a point-of-sale system and accept payment using a credit card reader or cash register, calculating change accurately and quickly.
• Work with the line team to prepare cold and hot subs to customer specifications, following cooking instructions and safety procedures.
• Use kitchen machinery such as knives, grills, and slicers.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness by clearing and wiping tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing and sanitizing utensils, and servicing restrooms.
• Communicate with team members and management to create schedules, train new employees, and resolve interpersonal issues.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and calmly, resolving issues per Jersey Mike's standards.
• Maintain neat appearance by wearing uniform and adhering to dress code.
