Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader/Supervisor in a Restaurant Environment.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays depending on Restaurant needs.
• Regularly exposed to heat and/or humid conditions.
• Lunch and dinner rushes require multitasking in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Hourly Team Members and interacts with Guests in a friendly, professional, and responsive way.
• Executes opening, mid, and closing duties daily following Velvet Taco’s standard procedures and recipe guidelines.
• Handles Guest concerns and guides them toward a positive resolution.
• Cash-handling, setting up POS drawers, performing comps and voids, and managing deposits during the shift.
• Leads by example to motivate others to follow procedures and ensure a positive Guest experience.
• De-escalates issues between Team Members and maintains a calm work environment.
• Supports Management with the inventory process.
• Maintains high food safety standards during shifts and checks storage and expiration dates.
