Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Cape Coral, FL is hiring a Shift Leader for part-time shifts across First, Second and Third shifts. Earn $17.25–$17.75 per hour plus digital tips.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Must meet Food Safety requirements and obtain a Food Safety Certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand/walk 8-9 hours; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Illinois Applicants - must become food safety certified within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead team on shifts with efficient task assignment and feedback.
• Follow security procedures and back-of-house standards.
• Count drawers and handle cash procedures.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, etc.) efficiently.
• Ensure health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line and supplies.
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash.
• Handle customer complaints effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.
