Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily shifts, ensure top-notch customer service, and enforce brand and food safety standards at our New Jersey location.

The role involves training new team members, overseeing cash handling policies, and ensuring compliance across duties. Flexible schedules and a fast-paced environment are part of the job, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Assist with kitchen tasks including prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
