Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Pine Beach, New Jersey, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shift teams, ensure consistent customer service, and enforce brand standards and food safety procedures across all plaza operations.

The role includes training new hires, managing cash handling, maintaining product knowledge, and supporting cross-selling while delivering a friendly, efficient experience to travelers throughout all shifts.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve issues with travelers.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments according to cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns and handle other tasks as assigned.
