Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to support the General Manager in running daily in-store operations. You will greet customers, take orders, and ensure subs are prepared to order while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

You will lead by example, train new team members, and assist with scheduling and conflict resolution. A positive, energetic attitude and reliability are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude.
• Input orders into a point-of-sale system and handle payments accurately.
• Work with the line team to prepare subs per specifications while following safety rules.
• Operate kitchen machinery like knives, grills, and slicers safely.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and sanitize utensils and restrooms daily.
• Communicate with team and management to create schedules and train staff.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues per Jersey Mike's standards.
• Maintain neat appearance by wearing the required uniform per dress code.
