Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. You will ensure the store runs smoothly, lead by example, and maintain high standards for service and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude.
• Input orders into a point-of-sale system and accept payment using a credit card reader or cash register, calculating change accurately and quickly as required.
• Work with the team to prepare subs to customer specifications, following cooking instructions and safety procedures.
• Use kitchen machinery such as knives, grills, slicers, etc.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, clear tables, sweep and mop floors, wash utensils, and sanitize restrooms.
• Communicate with team and management to create schedules, train new employees, and resolve interpersonal issues.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and calmly per Jersey Mike's standards.
• Maintain neat appearance with uniform and dress code.
