Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Shift Leader to guide peers in daily operations and uphold the Judgement Free Zone®. This full-time role centers on delivering a consistent, exceptional member experience and coaching team members to achieve club priorities and KPI goals.

You will engage with members, support membership processes, promote sales, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the club. Training is provided for CPR/AED and staff will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Proven background leading others.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet members as they enter/exit the club and assist with questions during check-in.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the club floor and supporting fitness journeys.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager when needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers.
• Perform membership functions: sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
• Conduct tours for prospective members and drive sales goals.
• Handle retail transactions accurately and support club KPIs.
• Maintain regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and spa amenities.
• Address maintenance and facility concerns promptly (e.g., broken/missing equipment).
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized.
