Planet Fitness is seeking a Club Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a premium “Judgement Free” member experience while driving club profitability. You will lead a team of frontline staff, train employees, and support store goals with a positive, energetic management style.

Responsibilities include staff recruitment, scheduling, payroll processing, addressing member needs, ensuring clean and safe facilities, and promoting Planet Fitness promotions to drive membership and retention.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Exceptional leadership, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff consisting of Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians.
• Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests and ensure staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Staff Management: Schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered.
• Lead by example and maintain accountability for direct reports through training and coaching.
• Administration and processing of weekly payroll.
• Resolve employee issues or concerns.
• Manage disciplinary/termination activities.
• Handle front desk activities: answer phones, assist callers, check members in, conduct tours.
• Facilitate member requests and questions; ensure gym opening/closing.
