Planet Fitness - Excel Fitness is seeking a Shift Leader to help oversee club operations and develop team members. You will work closely with Club Managers to ensure an outstanding member experience and strong daily performance.

The role starts at the front desk, focusing on delivering world class customer service, supervising staff, and supporting operational tasks across the facility. Career growth within the franchise is emphasized, with paths from front desk to regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills.
• Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Hard working, energetic and enthusiastic.
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 year of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing an entire team of high performers.
• Assist General Manager with staff oversight and management.
• Assist in scheduling and supervising staff.
• Ensure the team provides a world class member experience at all times.
• Resolve member, staff, and club issues as they arise.
• Front desk duties including member check-in and tours for new members.
• Support updates to member accounts and club cleanliness oversight.
• Assist in supply ordering and budgeting.
• Track statistics and prepare reports.
• Provide backup support for absent employees.
