Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to support club operations and drive a top-tier Judgement Free Zone experience. You will lead the team, assist in onboarding and training, and help achieve KPI goals while ensuring safety and high service standards.

Daily duties include member greetings, coaching staff, managing inventory and supplies, and resolving member concerns. The role emphasizes strong communication and flexibility to maintain a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• 9-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• 9-12 months of experience supervising and leading team is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Model the behaviors to provide an outstanding member experience; coach and inspire others to do the same.
• Assist in resolving employee concerns.
• Provide backup staffing support as needed.
• Manage inventory system for cleaning supplies.
• Ordering club supplies and retail product.
• Track KPI to identify areas of strengths and opportunities; game plan with club manager.
• Support the Club Manager with hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with questions or concerns.
